EAST HARLEM — A woman who let a close friend spend the night woke up to find the friend and $17,500 worth of jewelry gone.
Yolanda Blackman,42, is suspected of taking a bag full of expensive jewelry from an apartment on 112 East 128th St. on Jan. 4, according to the NYPD.
She hasn’t been seen since, police said.
The 59-year-old victim told police officers that she and Blackman were the only two people in the building and that no one else had keys to the front door.
The stolen goods include two diamond bracelets, a $3,000 black sapphire ring, a $2,000 heart-shaped diamond pendant, a $2,000 gold necklace and several pairs of diamond and gold earrings, according to the NYPD.

► Police arrested an 18-year-old who stole his father’s passport, credit card, drivers license and laptop after a family feud.
Leo Cohen-Solal, of East Harlem, stormed out of his apartment on January 15 after getting in a fight with his father’s wife, according to the NYPD.
His father tired to contact him but the teenager was not answering the phone. Police found and arrested the runaway the next day.
Cohen-Solal was charged with two felony counts of grand larceny and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of stolen property. He is due in New York Criminal Court April 9.
His Legal Aid lawyer could not be reached.
► Police are looking for a man who beat up an robbed his girlfriend on East 114th Street.
The suspect, Robert Crump, 29, punched and kicked the 37-year-old victim to the ground. He then took her smartphone and keys as he said, “I’m done, you’re dead.”
Crump is 5-foot-3 and about 180 pounds. He has brown dreadlocks and brown eyes.
