TIMES SQUARE — A man gunned down a woman he was romantically involved with in a West 43rd Street hotel before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide Wednesday, police said.
The 29-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, shot Brandi Quijano, 26, in the leg and torso in the lobby of the Times Square Hotel, at 255 W. 43rd St., near Eighth Avenue, about 10:45 p.m., according to the NYPD.
He then shot himself in the head, police said.
The couple, who lived in the hotel, were both pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, NYPD officials said.
