When federal investigators arrested the state Assembly Speaker Thursday morning on corruption and fraud charges, they revealed that Silver allegedly accepted millions of dollars in undisclosed bribes and kickbacks from two law firms within the last 14 years.
Silver reported only a small portion of his income from Weitz & Luxenberg, an asbestos cancer law firm, and he did not disclose any of his income from a real estate law firm that was unnamed in court documents, but sources identified as Goldberg & Iryami.
