TRIBECA — The final pour of concrete at 30 Park Place was hoisted 926 feet in the air Wednesday afternoon, soaring to the very top of the long-awaited luxury condo and hotel tower.

Developer Larry Silverstein’s upscale building, which includes a 40-story Four Seasons Hotel topped by 157 condos, is Lower Manhattan’s tallest residential building at 926 feet, the developer said.

On Wednesday, Silverstein and community leaders celebrated the topping off of the massive tower, which is slated to open in the spring of 2016.

“This historic milestone comes just as Downtown is completing its incredible transformation into the world's most vibrant, mixed-use destination on a scale not seen in New York City since Rockefeller Center opened in 1939,” Silverstein said. “Next year, when it opens, this will be the top hotel and condominium building in TriBeCa.”

Silverstein, who is also the developer behind several World Trade Center buildings, originally bought 30 Park Place in 2006, but construction didn’t get fully underway until in 2013 because of financing issues.

Silverstein said the condo tower, which has numerous amenities like a fitness center with a yoga studio, a swimming pool, a screening room and a children’s playroom, is already 60 percent sold.

A tour during Wednesday’s press conference took reporters to the 73rd floor of the building, which will be home to three condos with massive windows and sweeping views of the city.

The condos range in price from about $3 million to more than $30 million, for duplexes that sit on the 78th and 79th floors.
