BUSHWICK — A worker was injured when a Bobcat tractor he was driving flipped over inside a construction site for a group of three-family homes, officials said.

The 34-year-old man, whose name not immediately released, was carried to an ambulance on a stretcher about 1 p.m. from a construction site at 573 Van Buren St., near Broadway, according to NYPD officials and witnesses.

The Twitter account for the NYPD's 83rd Precinct, which oversees the area, published a photo of the overturned Bobcat enclosed in a small space by concrete walls.

The worker was treated at Kings County Hospital, an FDNY spokesman said.

The Department of Buildings is investigating the incident, a spokesman said.

The site has an open violation from October for deviating from approved building plans, according to the DOB website.
