LOWER EAST SIDE — They're selling this for a high price.

Online retailer 1Percent opened a pop-up gallery at 143 Ludlow St. to showcase more than 75 pieces of “functional glass art” — smoking pipes shaped like electric guitars, Williamsburg hipsters and more abstract forms.

The exhibit, called “Nor’Easter,” also includes a $10,800 red, white and blue vessel with a Grateful Dead logo on it designed by artists M. Slinger and E.F. Norris.

Each piece of art can be used to smoke your herb of choice, organizers said.

"Some people can scoff and say that’s paraphernalia, but it's just beautiful," said curator Brandon Long. "It's form and function and that's what we want to show people, that artists are doing this."

The show, which opened Wednesday, features one-of-a-kind pieces by artists like Slinger, Joshua “JOP!” Opdenaker and Germ, who recently exhibited their work at Art Basel, Long said.

The work surprised a few visitors who walked into the gallery and didn't realize they were looking at pipes, said 1Percent founder Alex DeVito.

“People come in and look around and are like, 'Are these pipes?'" DeVito said. "All of a sudden they realize what they’re looking at."

The pieces mostly cost a few thousand dollars, although some will be available for as little at $60, DeVito said.

In addition to the art, the gallery will also host free classes and demonstrations. Visitors can sign up online to learn the basics of rolling a joint or how to make the “cross joint” featured in the film “Pineapple Express.” They can also schedule an appointment for a demonstration of an herbal vaporizer that uses mint or lavender, DeVito said.

Online shoppers can pick their orders up at the pop-up or have them delivered on the same day, depending on where they live in the city.

“Nor’Easter” will be open on Sundays through Thursdays from 1 to 9 p.m.. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 31. Click here for more information.
