WILLIAMSBURG — An early morning argument over a bump on the sidewalk turned violent when one woman smacked another in the face with a glass cup, police said.

The victim, 25, was on Berry Street when she bumped into the other woman, 22, on Dec. 28 about 3 a.m., police said.

They started arguing, and it turned into an altercation, police said. The 22-year-old woman then hit the victim in the face with a glass cup, cutting her mouth, police said.

The victim went to the hospital on her own and received stitches, police said.

No one has been arrested for the incident, police said.

Other notable incidents in the 94th precinct include:

► A woman was punched and robbed by a man she planned to meet and another woman, police said.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, agreed to connect with the man on Dec. 30 around 10 p.m. near Wythe Avenue and North Fourth Street, police said.

When she arrived, the man was already there, police said. A woman, about 20 years old, then came up behind the victim and punched her in the face, police said.

The man then punched the victim, too, and took her handbag, which included a Samsung tablet and an iPhone 5S, police said.

The suspects then fled in a gray sedan on Wythe Avenue.

► A man who offered to hail a cab for a woman early on New Year's Day ended up stealing her wallet, police said.

The woman, 21, was walking on Berry Street near North 12th Street around 5:26 a.m. on Jan. 1 when the man approached her, police said.

He asked her what she was doing and where she was going, police said. When the woman said she was going home, the man offered to hail a cab for her, police said.

Shortly after, the man grabbed her bag and fled west on Berry Street on a bike, police said.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
