ASTORIA — He was hungry for dough.
A man burglarized the same Queens bakery twice in one week — including a break-in on New Year's Day — and stole nearly $2,000 from the cash register, according to the NYPD.
Police say the suspect broke into the Parisi Deli Bakery at 30-17 Broadway in Astoria in the early morning hours on Dec. 27 and Jan. 1, taking money from the cash register behind the counter in both incidents.
The suspect stole a total of $1,900, according to police. He was last seen wearing glasses and was captured on video.
The owner of the bakery did not immediately return a call and email seeking comment.
