ARROCHAR — A man impersonating a T-Mobile worker stole copper pipes and wiring from the roof of a Staten Island nursing home last month, police said.

The man walked into the New Broadview Manor Assisted Living nursing home at 70 Father Capodanno Blvd. on Dec. 30, 2014 around 2 p.m. and told them he was a worker for T-Mobile, police said.

He was granted access to the roof of the building. Staff later discovered he'd taken copper pipes and wiring from it, police said.

He was last seen driving a black Scion TC, police said.

The owner of the nursing home could not be immediately reached for comment.
