SOHO — Burglars swiped jewelry and electronics from two apartments on Sullivan Street last week, and police believe the thefts were related.

In the first burglary, the thief entered an apartment at 135 Sullivan St. through an unlocked bathroom window while the 27-year-old resident was out, sometime between 1 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 2, police said.

The burglar grabbed a $500 iPad, a $150 book bag and a Verizon MiFi hotspot, then left without any signs of forced entry or exit, police said.

Just down the block at 107 Sullivan St., a 30-year-old woman came home to her apartment on Jan. 4 after several days away to find jewelry, a projector and perfume missing from her apartment.

Without any signs of a break-in, a thief swiped a $500 pearl Tiffany & Co. necklace, $120 Chanel perfume and a $330 multimedia projector.

Police believe the burglaries are related and are still investigating them.
