QUEENS — Several Queens precincts are planning a candlelight vigil for Tuesday night to mourn the two NYPD officers killed in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The vigil will be held at the 107th Precinct at 71-01 Parsons Blvd. at 7 p.m. in Fresh Meadows, authorities said.

Local elected officials and police officers from commands in Patrol Borough Queens South — including the 100th, 101st, 102nd, 103rd, 105th, 106th, 107th and 113th Precincts — will participate.

The eight precincts cover a large portion of the borough, including Kew Gardens Hills, Jamaica, Queens Village, Kew Gardens, Ozone Park and Richmond Hill.

The vigil, according to a flier announcing the event, will “honor the memory of Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.” It will also show “support for the Officers of Queens South and the rest of the NYPD.”

Liu, 32, and Ramos, 40, who worked in the 84th Precinct in Brooklyn, were killed in an ambush on Dec. 20 by a lone gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, as they sat in their patrol car. Brinsley killed himself shortly after.

The fallen officers have been mourned across the city and numerous precincts organized vigils to honor them.

Thousands attended the funeral for Ramos, who was buried on Saturday in Glendale, Queens. The funeral for Liu is scheduled for next Sunday morning.
