HUNTERS POINT — A vigil was planned for Monday night in Long Island City to mourn the two NYPD officers killed Saturday in Brooklyn.

Faith leaders and elected officials were set to meet outside the 108th Precinct at 5-47 50th Ave. to pay tribute to officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, according to an announcement from City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer.

"We will gather together in prayer tonight with faith leaders in front of the 108th Precinct in Long Island City at 6:30 to pray for the fallen NYPD officers Liu & Ramos & their families," the announcement read.

Liu, 32, and Ramos, 40, were shot and killed by gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley as they sat in a police car in Brooklyn Saturday afternoon in what Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner Bill Bratton described as an "assassination."

The fallen officers, who worked in the 84th Precinct, have been mourned across the city.
