BROOKLYN — A straphanger was injured in the Avenue M subway station Thursday night, fire officials said.

The FDNY responded to a call of someone injured in the Midwood station about 6:50 p.m., a spokesman said.

The accident disrupted service on the B and Q lines, transit officials said.

Southbound B trains were ending at Prospect Park and southbound Q trains were running over the N line from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Coney Island, according to the MTA.

There were also delays on the two lines in both directions.

Riders can use the B35, B41 and B68 buses for alternative southbound service in Brooklyn.
