EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A man walking home in East Williamsburg last week was robbed by two men — one who threatened to shoot him and one who said he had to "feed my baby," police said.

The victim, 28, was walking on Scholes Street near Lorimer Street Dec. 9 around 9 p.m. when the two men approached him, police said.

According to police, one man, who was about 18 years old, 6-foot-2 and had a goatee, said, "Do you wanna do it the easy way, or do you wanna get shot?"

The other man, about 17 years old, said "I have to feed my baby," police said.

The victim took out his wallet and gave the two men about $100. They also took his iPhone 5S.

The phone was tracked to South Fourth and Hewes streets, but police were unable to retrieve the phone.

No one has been arrested for the incident.

Other notable incidents in the 90th precinct include:

► A man who met two strangers outside a McDonald's in the Lower East Side to go buy drugs in Williamsburg ended up getting robbed and pushed down stairs, police said.

The victim, 23, met the two men in front of the McDonald's at Delancey and Essex streets Dec. 9 at 11 p.m., police said.

He then got into a cab with the two men to drive to an apartment on Wythe Avenue near Clymer Street "in order to buy drugs," police said.

Once at the apartment building, the man walked up to the fourth floor stairwell, police said.

One of the men then put his hand over the victim's mouth, police said. The second man demanded that the victim "give us your money," police said.

The man who had placed his hand over the victim's mouth then searched the victim and took $69, police said. Both men pushed the victim down the stairs and ran, police said.

The victim suffered no injuries, police said. No one has been arrested for the incident.

► Two men tried to rob a South Williamsburg man as he checked his mail in his apartment lobby, police said.

The man, 46, was in his lobby at South Third and Cooper streets on Dec. 11 around 2 a.m. when two men approached him, police said. One man said "Give me your phone and your wallet" and "Don't make me hurt you," police said.

The resident refused to give them his property and locked himself in a second lobby doorway, police said. Both men then fled on South Third Street towards Union Avenue.

No property was taken. The victim refused medical services.

One suspect was about 20 years old, 6-foot-1 and 140 pounds. The second man was about 5-foot-8.
