ASTORIA — Police are looking for a pair of suspects who tricked an 81-year-old Queens woman into handing over $3,000 in cash last week.

According to the NYPD, the two suspects — a man and a woman, both 35 — approached the senior outside her home in Astoria on Dec. 1 and told her they'd found a large amount of money.

The duo told the victim she'd get $70,000 of the funds if she could prove to the bank that she had $3,000 in cash, according to police, prompting the 81-year-old to hand over the money with the suspects promising they'd return with her share.

Police released surveillance video of the female suspect, described as 5-foot-5 and 160 pounds. The man is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds.
