TRIBECA — Three robbers tied up a TriBeCa parking garage attendant at gunpoint last week, before stealing three pricey cars from the lot, police said.

The thieves ambushed the 68-year-old garage employee just after midnight on Nov. 7, forcing him into an upstairs office at the 24 Leonard St. lot while waving a silver handgun, police said.

The attackers used duct tape to tie the man’s wrists behind his back and fasten his ankles together, and they also wrapped his face with it, police said. They grabbed the victim’s wallet and cellphone from his pocket before heading back down to the garage, where they stole a $21,000 2010 Audi sedan, a $36,000 BMW and a $50,000 Range Rover, police said.

The victim told police he was able to free his ankles from the duct tape in about 15 minutes. He then managed to run next door to the residential building at 18 Leonard St., with his hands still bound together, and face still covered with tape. A doorman there helped the man out of the remaining duct tape, and called 911, police said.

Police were still investigating the crime as of Tuesday and did not release descriptions of the suspects.

Management at the Louis Provensano Inc. parking garage declined to comment.
