16 Subway Lines Slated for Service Changes This Weekend

MIDTOWN — Sixteen subway lines are slated for service disruptions this weekend at the MTA continues fixing stations, rails and signals.

SKIP TO YOUR TRAIN HERE: 1 Train; 2 Train; 3 Train; 4 Train; 5 Train; 7 Train; A Train; C Train; D Train; F Train; J Train; M Train; N Train; R Train; S Train; W Train

1 Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 1 trains will be suspended both ways between 14th Street and South Ferry. Take the 2, 3, R or free shuttle buses instead.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Bronx-bound 1s will run express from Times Square to 72nd Street.

2 Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Bronx-bound 2s will run express from Chambers to 14th Street.

From 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Bronx-bound trains will run express from Times Square to 72nd Street.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn College-bound 2s will run local from Penn Station to Chambers. Bronx-bound 2s run local from 14th Street to Penn Station.

From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound 2s will run express from Franklin Avenue to Barclays Center.

3 Train: Trains will skip Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road and Junius Street until further notice.

For service to/from Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road, free shuttle buses will run between there and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.

For service to/from Junius Street, free shuttle buses will run between that stop and Rockaway Avenue.

From 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Manhattan-bound 3s will run express from Franklin Avenue to Barclays.

From 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Brooklyn-bound 3s will run local from Penn Station to Chambers. Harlem-bound trains will run local from 14th to Penn Station.

4 Train: Until the spring, 4s will also skip Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road and Junius Street.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Monday, 4s will be suspended both ways between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Woodlawn. Take the D or free shuttles instead.

4s will run between New Lots Avenue/Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and 149th Street-Grand Concourse and will then be rerouted over the 2 to/from East 180th Street.

Free shuttle buses will operate between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Yankee Stadium.

Straphangers can also use the D to get to other stops near the 4.

For service to/from Bedford Park, Mosholu Parkway and Woodlawn, take free shuttle buses from the Bedford Park D stop.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound 4s will run express from Franklin Avenue to Barclays.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, 4s will run local between Grand Central and 125th Street.

5 Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 5s will be suspended both ways between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and Brooklyn College. Take the 2, 4 or free shuttle buses instead. The shuttles will run between Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street and make all station stops. To get from East 180th Street to 149th-Grand Concourse, take the 2 or the 4. For service to/from Bowling Green, use the 4.

7 Train: From 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Monday, 7s will be suspended between Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza. Use the E, F, N, W, S and free shuttle buses instead. 7s will still run between Flushing and Queensboro Plaza.

Free shuttle buses will run in two segments: between Hudson Yards and Times Square and between Vernon-Jackson and Queensboro Plaza.

The 42nd Street shuttle will run overnight.

W service will run between Whitehall Street and Ditmars Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

From 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Monday, Flushing-bound 7s will run express from Queensboro Plaza to 74th Street-Broadway.

A Train: From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, As will be rerouted via the F in both directions between West 4th Street and Jay Street-MetroTech.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Monday, As will stop at 155th Street and 163rd Street both ways.

C Train: From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Cs will be rerouted via the F both ways between West 4th and Jay Street-MetroTech.

From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Cs will be suspended both ways between 145th Street and 168th Street. Take the A instead.

D Train: From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound Ds will run local from DeKalb Avenue to 36th Street.

F Train: Until early 2017, Coney Island-bound Fs will skip Avenue I, Bay Parkway, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U and Avenue X. To get to these stops, take a Coney Island-bound F to Kings Highway or Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Queens-bound F. From these stops, take a Queens-bound F to Kings Highway or 18th Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound train.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound Fs will skip 75th Avenue, Briarwood and Sutphin Boulevard.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Fs will be suspended both ways between Coney Island and Church Avenue. Free shuttle buses will make all station stops between the two.

J Train: Until the summer, Manhattan-bound Js will skip 121st Street.

For service here, take it a stop farther and walk or transfer to take the Q56 bus.

Jamaica Center-Parsons trains will skip 121st Street between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. Take a Q56 bus or the Z instead.

M Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Ms will be suspended both ways between Metropolitan and Myrtle. Ms will run between Essex and Myrtle and will be rerouted via the J to/from Broadway Junction. Free shuttle buses will make all M stops between Metropolitan and Myrtle. Use the L at Myrtle for direct service to/from Manhattan.

N Train: Until the spring, Queens-bound Ns will skip 86th Street, Avenue U, Kings Highway, 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, New Utrecht Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway. Ns will stop at Bay Parkway and Eighth Avenue.

To get to 86th Street, Avenue U and Kings Highway, take an Astoria-bound N to Bay Parkway and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.

To 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, New Utrecht Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, take a Queens-bound N to Eighth Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.

From these stops, take a Coney Island-bound N to Bay Parkway or Stillwell Avenue and transfer to a Queens-bound N.

For New Utrecht-62nd Street, take the D to a Queens-bound N at 36th Street.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound Ns will run express from Barclays to 59th Street.

R Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Bay Ridge-bound Rs will run express from Barclays to 59th Street.

S Train: From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, the 42nd Street shuttle will run overnight.

W Train: From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Ws will run between Whitehall Street and Ditmars Boulevard.
