NEW YORK CITY — Fulfill your your civic duty — and satisfy your craving for Thin Mints.
The Girl Scouts of Greater New York are selling their cookies at various locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn on Election Day, as part of a one-day-only preview sale.
Along with favorites like Samoas, Thin Mints and Trefoils, the Girl Scouts are introducing a new cookie at the sale this year called Rah Rah Raisins. Made with whole-grain oats, the cookies also include raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks.
Girl Scout cookies will officially go on sale next month, but Tuesday is your chance to pick them up ahead of the rush. The cookies — which sell for $4 a box, with proceeds benefiting New York's Girl Scout programs — will be available in corporate lobbies in Midtown, the Financial District and Downtown Brooklyn.
