The victim, 36, was followed to her apartment by the attacker on Friday about 10:30 p.m. in the 24th Precinct, which stretches from West 86th Street to 110th Street, police said.

The suspect, who was captured on surveillance footage, is described as in his 40s, standing approximately 6-foot-2 and weighing about 200 pounds, according to police. He was wearing a striped long-sleeve shirt and brown pants at the time of the attack, police said.
