QUEENS — A woman was slashed in the throat and critically injured early Wednesday morning in the lobby of a building in Jamaica, police said.

The victim, in her 20s, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, according to the NYPD.

The attack occurred at about 5:20 a.m. on 171st Street, between Jamaica and 90th avenues, police said.

The woman was found outside the building, but police said they spotted a blood trail leading to the lobby.

As of Wednesday morning, she had not been identified, authorities said, and police were not sure whether she lived in the building where the incident took place.
