WOODSIDE — A man was seriously hurt when a Long Island Rail Road train hit him near the Woodside station Tuesday morning, the MTA said.

The 39-year-old man, whose name was not released, was on the tracks near Woodside Avenue and 61st Street when a Ronkonkoma-bound train struck him about 10:30 a.m., MTA and FDNY officials said.
