QUEENS — A motorcyclist died when he lost control of his bike and skidded into another rider Sunday morning in Glendale, sources said.

David Malave, 38, was riding eastbound on Cypress Avenue about 4:15 a.m. when he lost control and hit a curb, sending him skidding toward Cypress Hills Street, near Cypress Hills Cemetery.

His motorcycle smashed into a second biker who was waiting for the light, sources said.

Malave, who lived in Corona, was taken to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The second biker, a 48-year-old man whose name was not released, was not injured in the collision, according to the NYPD.

The second biker was taken into custody and questioned but later released without being charged, a police spokeswoman said.
