Man Shot Dead Outside Williamsburg Apartment, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot outside the Bushwick Houses Thursday afternoon, police said.

Bobby Roberts, 22, was outside his home at 140 Moore St., near Humboldt Street, about 12:50 p.m. when he was shot twice in the torso, according to the NYPD.

He was taken to Woodhull hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

It was not clear what led to the shooting, but police said they were still investigating his death.
