QUEENS — An off-duty NYPD captain was arrested for driving drunk Thursday morning, after he rear-ended another car on the Grand Central Parkway in Forest Hills, police said.

Capt. Roberto Cruz, 38, who drove 2014 Ford Sedan, hit a 2010 Jeep truck, near Jewel Avenue, on Sept. 24 after 11 p.m., police said.

No one was injured, according to the NYPD.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they smelled alcohol on Cruz's breath, according to the criminal complaint.

Cruz was also “unsteady on his feet while standing outside” of his car, according to court documents.

He was taken to the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills, where he refused to take a breath test, police said.

Authorities said that Cruz was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test.
