GREENPOINT — Popular Chinese hand-pulled noodle shop Xi'an Famous Foods is making its way to Greenpoint this fall — and it will feature the popular local chain's first outdoor seating area.

The restaurant, which blew up after mentions from celebrity chefs such as Anthony Bourdain, has already put up signs at the new storefront at 648 Manhattan Ave., near Nassau Avenue.

Greenpoint will be the second Brooklyn location of Xi'an Famous Foods, with the first in East Williamsburg at 86 Beadel St.

It is still waiting for final touches with gas and electricity, CEO Jason Wang told DNAinfo New York in an email, adding that he hopes it will open within a month.

In addition to being the first Xi'an Famous Foods with backyard dining, the location will feature an open kitchen and Silk Road-themed mural from a local artist to give it "a unique identity that fits with the neighborhood," Wang said.

The restaurant chain serves food from the northwestern region of China, including spicy dishes heavy on cumin, peppercorns and chili. Most dishes cost less than $10.

Xi'an Famous Foods has been rapidly expanding, with Wang previously saying he wants to open a dozen locations in New York City, Boston and Washington, D.C. within the next five years.

Two new Manhattan locations are also opening in the next six months, with one on the Upper East Side at 328 E. 78th St. and one in Midtown at 14 E. 34th St.
