The unidentified woman, 23, was walking south on Graham Avenue, near Conselyea Street, on Saturday about 6:50 p.m. when someone unzipped her backpack and took off with several items, police said.

She went after the thief, who threw the phone back, police said. She was unable to get back her other items, police said.

No one has been arrested for the incident.
