SOUTH BEACH — A woman's body was found off the waters in South Beach on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The woman was found fully clothed and face down at 4:18 p.m. in South Beach near the intersection of Father Capodanno Boulevard and Seaview Avenue, a spokeswoman for the NYPD said.
The NYPD Harbor Patrol brought her onto shore where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The cause of death for the woman, who was still unidentified on Monday morning, will be determined by the medical examiner and police said an investigation is ongoing.
