MANHATTAN — A man was injured when a southbound 1 train hit him in an Inwood subway station ahead of Wednesday morning's rush-hour commute, officials said.

The man, whose name and age were not released, was hit about 7:30 a.m. inside the 207th Street station, near 10th Avenue, according to FDNY and MTA officials.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and treated for injuries that didn't appear to be life threatening, FDNY and NYPD officials said.

Police don't believe any criminality was involved.

Service on the 1 train was delayed in both directions as of 8:15 a.m., after trains were temporarily suspended between Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street and 168th Street.
