WILLIAMSBURG — An L train rider shoved a 54-year-old woman against a pole and then threw her to the floor of the subway car, police said.

The incident began after the man hit a child while on the northbound train at the Lorimer Street station last Saturday between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., police said.

The suspect then grabbed the woman by her arm and the back of her shirt and shoved her into the pole twice, causing her to strike her mouth, police said.  He threw the woman backwards and she struck her head on the floor, causing a bump, police said.

It was unclear what provoked the attack, police said.

Investigators continue to search for the suspect, who fled onto the platform toward the closed end of the station, police said.

Other notable crimes that occurred recently in the 94th Precinct include:

► A man walking on North Fifth Street near Bedford Avenue about 2 a.m. Friday was robbed by a man wearing dreadlocks who threatened that "we can do this easy way or hard way," police said.

Police also said the thief warned: "Don't want to see you on the news tomorrow."

Two people then approached the 18-year-old victim from behind, police said.

The victim handed over $62 in cash. All three suspects then walked away on North Fifth Street toward the water, police said.

► An East Williamsburg woman who left her window unlocked had $5,000 worth of electronics stolen while she slept, police said.

The 21-year-old woman who lives on Meserole Street near Humboldt Street told police the items were stolen around 3:30 a.m.Thursday.

She fell asleep with the window closed but unlocked and when she woke up, the window was ajar. Two MacBooks, a Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone, an HTC One cellphone and a wireless router were gone, police said.

The main front door was locked when the woman returned home but, after she woke up, the door was no longer locked, police said.

Neighbors did not hear any suspicious activity, police said.

► Two women in Williamsburg were shoved to the ground by robbers in separate incidents over the weekend, police said.

About12:30 a.m. on Saturday, a 24-year-old woman was pushed to the ground at Wythe Avenue and North 14th Street by a 6-foot man wearing blue jeans and a black shirt, police said. He took her Kate Spade wallet, a passport, a driver's license and a gold chain, police said.

On Sunday, at about 3 a.m., a 23-year-old woman walking on the sidewalk near North Ninth Street and Berry Street was pushed to the ground by a passing biker, police said.

The man on a bike came from behind, pushed her and "forcefully removed" her handbag, police said.

He took $2,360 worth of property, including a black leather Coach bag, a red Gucci wallet, a black iPhone 5, a Henri Bendel keychain and an unlimited Metrocard, police said.

The woman is from Japan but living temporarily in New York, police said.

► More than $1,000 worth of property were stolen from a McCarren Park locker Tuesday, June 22, police said.

A 17-year-old girl told police she'd locked a brown, red and green Gucci wallet, a gold iPhone 5S, navy Adidas pants and black flip-flops in the locker about 4 p.m.

She returned with a friend around 5 p.m. and the locker was secure, but when she went back an hour later the lock and her belongings were missing, police said. The locker was not damaged, police said.
