BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A double shooting on Lefferts Place earlier this month that killed a Bed-Stuy mother claimed its second victim on Saturday, police said.

Donn Wynn, 34, died after spending 20 days in Kings County Hospital, succumbing to multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Wynn and fellow Lefferts Place resident Tamecca Haskins, 32, were found shot around 2:30 a.m. on July 6 outside 180 Lefferts Place, directly across the street from a memorial celebration for an unrelated shooting victim that had taken place earlier that night.

Both victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital where Haskins was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the chest, and where Wynn remained in critical condition before his death Saturday.

Police could not immediately confirm if the two victims knew each other.

Friends and family of Tamecca Haskins, a mother with two jobs that friends affectionately called "Bunky," gathered in front of her house earlier this month to mourn her death.

"She didn't have any enemies," her stepfather, Melvin Watson, said earlier this month. "She was very motivated, always. Never sat down lazy. And a good mother."

Activists and elected officials, meanwhile, decried the violence that took the life of both Haskins and Wynn.

"There's people out here who care," Bed-Stuy Councilman Robert Cornegy told the assembled crowd at the time. "You make a choice, whether you're part of correcting this or standing by watching it take place."

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
