WOODSIDE — Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for punching a man on Roosevelt Avenue who later died from his injuries.

Robert Martires, 56, died days after being punched by a suspect on June 21 after an apparent altercation that may have stemmed from a fight after World Cup game, according to the NYPD.

Police described the suspect as a man in his early to mid-20s, with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored baseball hat, according to the NYPD.

In a sketch released Thursday, he's shown wearing a Chicago White Sox cap.

Martires was a Filipino immigrant and father of two who worked as a limo driver, according to friends.

He was out with a friend the night of the attack and sources told DNAinfo New York that he was punched in the face after the suspect allegedly asked him if he was Filipino.

The NYPD, though, said it was not investigating the incident as a hate crime.
