Deli Worker Robbed at Gunpoint on Staten Island, Police Say

TOMPKINSVILLE — A deli worker was robbed at gunpoint by two men on Staten Island Tuesday, police said.

The pair went into Brook Grocery and Deli at 83 Brook St., in Tompkinsville, around 10 p.m., brandished guns and demanded money from the 37-year-old worker, police said.

They took about $900 from the cash register and the worker's pockets before they fled to parts unknown, police said.

Police described the suspects as a man between 28 and 33 years old, with one last seen wearing sunglasses.
