
QUEENS — Two Queens men were arrested for murder Monday after beating and robbing a 55-year-old man in Woodhaven last week, a police spokesman said.
Carlos Genno, 22, and Nestor Rodriguez, 20, punched and kicked Nazmul Islam before taking money from his pocket and fleeing at 76th Street and Atlantic Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. on July 9, according to the NYPD.
Islam, who lived on 85th Road, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Genno, who lives on Liberty Avenue, and Rodriguez, who lives on 90th Street, were both charged with murder and robbery.
