Where You Can Watch the Germany vs. Argentina World Cup Final in NYC

NEW YORK CITY — Can Lionel Messi lead Argentina to their third World Cup championship, or will he be squashed by powerhouse Germany, who are eyeing their fourth?

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will culminate on Sunday with the final match airing at 3 p.m.

If you're a die-hard fan of either team, or just want to see who claims soccer's greatest honor, New York City has plenty of spots to catch the game no matter where your allegiances lie.

Here's the best spots to catch the final in every borough:

MANHATTAN

Zum Schneider, East Village
107 Ave. C, 212-598-1098

This Avenue C beer garden has been the spot to root for Deutschland during the World Cup, and should be the perfect place to watch the game. For the final, the place will close its doors and move up to the East River at 23rd Street, where they'll broadcast the game on a huge 11-by-18-foot LED screen.

Novecento, West Village

This West Village bistro installs two projectors and opens up its second floor for La Selección's games. Enjoy some authentic Argentinian cuisine while you watch the match, but come early as staff said fans are known to pile in two hours before games begin.

Kinsale Tavern, Upper East Side

This Irish sports pub has shown every World Cup game, and should be the perfect place to catch the final in Manhattan if you have no particular allegiance to either country.

BROOKLYN

Die Koelner Bierhalle, Park Slope

This Park Slope beer hall has traditional Bavarian dishes and brews to enjoy during the final, which will be showing on a 100-inch television inside. The German spot also offers food and drink specials during the game.

Under the Archway, DUMBO
Anchorage Place and Water Street, under the Manhattan Bridge

The DUMBO Business Improvement District has shown every World Cup game on an outdoor screen under the bridge, and will be showing the final on Sunday, as well as Saturday's third place match between Brazil and Netherlands.

Woodwork, Prospect Heights

This Prospect Heights spot has constantly been rated one of the best places in the city to watch the beautiful game, and offers $3 beers and giveaways during World Cup games.

QUEENS

This Argentinian steakhouse, named after one of the most popular clubs in Buenos Aires, has shown every Argentina World Cup game and should be packed with supporters on Sunday hoping to see Messi hit the back of the net.

For fans hoping Die Mannschaft clinch their first title since 1990, this traditional Bavarian inn has three viewing areas and food specials during the game.

If you want to watch the game and enjoy a Sunday in the sand, head to this Rockaway Beach spot. For games, the bar wheels a TV to its outdoor patio and serves food, drinks and coffee.

STATEN ISLAND

This West Brighton German joint has been hosting giveaways, drink specials and more during every World Cup game this year. With an indoor restaurant and outdoor beer garden, this spot also serves traditional German cuisine and beer.

If you live on the other side of the borough, this Charleston bar and restaurant should be the perfect place to cheer for Germany. The bar boasts a huge beer selection from all over the world and will be having beer specials and giveaways during the match.

This new Castleton Corners spot has shown every World Cup game on two large TVs inside with beer specials and $12 burgers during matches. The place also boast a large menu of Mexican-styled dishes to chow down.

This large bar in Kingsbridge has a huge list of beers on tap, and you can even check what's there and how much is left on its website. The bar has shown every game on a big screen inside.

Michelangelo's Little Italy, Belmont

This Little Italy spot was the place to watch the Azzurri's progress in the tournament — until they got knocked out in the group stage. Even with Italy out of the running, the restaurant has offered food and drink specials during every World Cup game.
