The 25-year-old victim was sitting on the stoop of 184 MacDonough St. shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday when he was approached by the unidentified shooter, police said.

Surveillance video from a house next door shows the shooter talking to the victim before flashing a gun and firing, hitting him in the torso, according to police.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police said the alleged shooter appeared stocky and was wearing a T-shirt with the number 12 on the back.
