12-Year-Old Boy Shot in The Bronx, Police Say

CONCOURSE — A 12-year-old boy and 18-year-old girl were shot in the Bronx on Sunday night and police are looking for a trio of teen gunman in connection with the gunplay.

The shooting took place on June 29 around 9:30 p.m. in front of 1130 College Ave., near East 166th Street, when an unknown man fired at the two victims, hitting the boy in the ankle and the 18-year-old in the right thigh, according to police.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals in stable condition, while the gunmen, who was accompanied by two other men, fled to an unknown location.

Police have described the suspects, caught fleeing the scene on surveillance video, as 16- to 18-year-old males.
