HUNTERS POINT — New retail options are headed to the Long Island City waterfront.
A kickboxing gym and a waxing center are the latest tenants to sign leases at 4545 Center Blvd., a luxury rental building by developer TF Cornerstone that opened last spring.
Fitness franchise I Love Kickboxing and the hair removal chain European Wax Center both have locations under construction in the building, according to Winick Realty Group, which handled the leasing.
The two businesses join Mimi & Mo, a women and children's clothing store that opened there in April, and the New York Kids Club, a preschool and kids gym which is set to open this fall.
The newly signed tenants "reflect the changing demographics of the area, focusing on health and wellness and family," according to an announcement from Winick.
The realty group says an Italian eatery, not yet named, is also coming to a 7,733-square-foot ground floor space at 4610 Center Blvd., TF Cornerstone's latest building that's located behind the iconic Pepsi sign.
Other retailers already operating in TF Cornerstone's other Center Boulevard buildings include coffee shop Sweatleaf, at 4615 Center Blvd., Latin fusion restaurant Blend on the Water, at 4540 Center Blvd. and Crank Cycling Studio, at 4630 Center Blvd.
