THE BRONX — A man tried to follow a group of kids into their home after he exposed himself to them in broad daylight in Claremont Village Friday afternoon, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in surveillance footage wearing a bright red polo shirt, first exposed himself to the three children, whose identities were not released, as they played on Stebbins Avenue about 5 p.m., the NYPD said.

The man, who may be between 18 and 20 years old, then followed the kids to their home nearby and tried to get inside. He fled when he was rebuffed, police said.

Video shows him trying to push his way into the house but then quickly walking away, according to the NYPD.

Investigators said he is about 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds.
