INWOOD — Uptown residents may be seeing a lot more shuttle buses over the next month.

There will be no A train service between 168th Street and 207th Street for four weekends beginning late Friday night, so the MTA can do track work.

Service will be affected from 11:45 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday. During the same time, A trains will make local stops between 145th and 168th streets.

The changes will be in effect June 27 to 30, July 4 to 7, July 11 to 14 and July 18 to 21.

Commuters are encouraged to take the 1 train at nearby stations. Free shuttle buses will also serve bypassed stations along two routes: Broadway between 168th and 207th streets and Fort Washington Avenue between 168th and 190th streets.
