THE BRONX — A large fire tore through a Fordham bodega early Monday morning, the FDNY said.

The blaze began inside Nizao Grocery Store, at 2840 Briggs Ave., about 4:30 a.m. and brought over 130 firefighers to the scene, an FDNY spokesman said.

Flames spread to some of the adjacent commercial properties but the fire was brought under control about 5:45 a.m., the FDNY said.

No injuries were reported, the FDNY said.

Fire marshals were investigating what sparked the fire.
