HUNTERS POINT — It's quality over quantity at this new Long Island City condo.

FIVE Fortyone, a luxury building at 5-41 47th Rd., is set to hit the market soon — offering just three, three-bedroom apartments for potential buyers, a contrast to the multi-unit high-rises common in the neighborhood.

"It has a very townhouse feeling to it, which is new for Long Island City," said Jennifer Dorfmann of Modern Spaces, which is marketing the property for developer Ascent.

The building is made up of one duplex and two triplex homes, each with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, ranging from approximately 1,600 to just over 2,000-square feet.

Each apartment has its own "very generous," outdoor space, according to Dorfmann, who said the two triplexes have roof terraces while the ground floor duplex has a backyard garden.

The building also boasts some high-tech luxuries: the apartments are pre-wired with a Sonos sound system, and also come with an intercom system that allows residents to remotely open the front door for guests. Bathrooms will be equipped with an overhead rain shower, while each kitchen will have a built-in wine cooler.

The first unit will hit the market within the next few weeks, and prices for the homes are expected to start at $1.7 million.

The building will be ready for occupancy in the early fall, according to Modern Spaces.
