MANHATTAN — Fleet Week kicked off Wednesday morning when military ships cruised under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and up the Hudson River.
Eager spectators took to social media to post photos of the "Parade of Ships." If you're stuck indoors, you can watch ships pass the Statue of Liberty on Fleet Week's Earth Cam.

Some of the best shots came from people on the ships.
The U.S. Air Force posted their own photos on Twitter.
