
QUEENS — A burglar broke into a Forest Hills pizzeria through a rooftop window last Tuesday and stole nearly $2,000, police said.
The suspect, whose image was captured on a surveillance camera, made his way into A&J Pizza and Bakery on Austin Street, near 71st Road, by breaking the window on May 6 at 2 a.m., authorities said.
The burglar stole $1,997 and fled, police said.
Representatives of the pizzeria could not immediately be reached for comment.
