THE BRONX — A 28-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he went on a five-hour slashing rampage through Mott Haven Saturday morning, leaving five men with cuts across their faces, the NYPD said.

Corey Glover first knifed a 34-year-old man near East 148th Street and Willis Avenue about 7 a.m. but stayed in the area and somhow evaded police as he attacked three other men — aged 30, 50 and 42, police said.

He finally stopped after he assaulted a 23-year-old at Oak Terrace and Crimmins Avenue, near the Beekman Houses, about 11:40 a.m., the NYPD said.

All the victims managed to transport themselves to Lincoln hospital, police said.

The Daily News reported that Glover's attacks stemmed from a dispute at a East 147th Street methadone clinic, but an NYPD spokeswoman could not confirm that account.

Glover, who lives on 146th Street near Brook Avenue, was arrested Sunday and faced felony assault charges, police said.
