WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg edition of Brooklyn Flea has found a new home and is set to kick off this Sunday, May 4.
The market will now be at 50 Kent Ave., between North 11th and 12th streets and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m on Sundays. According to a statement, 150 vendors selling antiques, vintage and handmade goods will be at the site, along with 30-40 food vendors.
The Sunday market used to be held in East River Park, but organizers withdrew from the location to accommodate residents who were worried about losing park space.
Food market Smorgasburg continues to be held in East River Park on Saturdays. On Sundays, it's held at Brooklyn Bridge Park. However, there will be no Sunday Smorgasburg on May 4 due to the Five Boro Bike Tour.
The Flea's twice-annual Record Fair also returns Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. next to Smorgasburg inside East River State Park.
