FLUSHING — The borough's wealth of global cuisine will be on display Tuesday night at a tasting event that highlights some of Queens' best restaurants.

The Queens Economic Development Corporation, Fairway Market, and up to 50 of the borough's restaurants will share treats at Queens Taste 2014, which will be held at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel in Flushing.

Guests can sample an array of food from restaurants including F Ottomanelli Burgers & Belgian Fries, Uncle Peter's, Dutch Kills Centraal and more — all while enjoying photos and videos from the historic 1964 World's Fair.

The festival's 50th anniversary is the theme of this year's Queens Taste, and the world's cuisine featured at the World's Fair remains a fixture in the borough.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the QEDC's business services, neighborhood development programs and  tourism council.

Tickets are $100 each, $175 for a pair, and can be purchased here.

Queens Taste 2014, Tuesday, April 29, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, 135-20 39th Ave., Flushing.
