ASTORIA — A woman's body was found Saturday in Astoria near the East River, according to the NYPD.
Police say an unidentified woman was discovered around 11 a.m. on some rocks near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. She was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death, officials said.
