FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A fire surged through the duct work of a Financial District Burger King Friday morning, the FDNY said.
The blaze erupted about 8 a.m. inside the first-floor burger joint at 16 Beaver St., near New Street, the FDNY said.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene, the FDNY said.
No injuries were immediately reported, but people in units above the fast-food eatery were evacuated, the FDNY said.
