LOWER EAST SIDE — A Manhattan man has been arrested in the shooting death of an 18-year-old who was killed when the gunman shot into a crowd last summer.

Allah Dajon, 21, who lived in the Baruch Houses, was charged with murder in the shooting that killed Deontay Moore on July 19 outside the Jacob Riis Houses, where Moore lived, police said.

Moore was standing with friends on Avenue D at East 10th Street when two gunmen on bicycles rode by and fired shots toward the group, striking Moore in the head, police said.

Moore's family said he had been a happy "good kid" who was studying to get his GED after he dropped out of school, and he was a proud uncle to his 6-year-old nephew.

Dajon was charged with second-degree murder, police said.
