UPPER WEST SIDE — Amusement. Diversión. Divertimento.

Those are just a few of the ways your kids can learn to say "fun" in another language — while having a blast at one of the city's many immersion summer language camps.

Open the door to fluency in French, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew or even Mandarin at these language camps, which offer a well-rounded experience that incorporates language as part of the summer camp experience.

"The parents here, even if they’re non-Spanish speakers, they’re looking at this school saying ‘We don’t speak Spanish, but we want our children to learn a second language early on,’" said Beatrice Rieskohl, of Juguemos a Cantar, a Spanish language school and summer camp in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Noemi Ali, admissions director of Bilingual Buds on the Upper West Side, is so convinced that dual-language learning expands brain power that she enrolled her own child in an immersion Mandarin class.

"Bilingualism fosters overall cognitive development and provides students with many benefits," Ali said. "Bilingual Buds presented us the opportunity to give that gift to our son."

DNAinfo New York makes finding the perfect camp as easy as learning the abecedario — Spanish for "the alphabet."

It's best to register early since many camps fill up before their May registration deadlines.
